Post How many of the council of 18 are pastors? LonghornFan
The General Assembly increased the number of pastors required to be on the council of 18 to either 13 or 14. When I look at the current council, I don’t see near that many pastors. Who are the pastors on the council and is there the required amount? Friendly Face

I thought 13 of the 18 had to be pastors. Is that not the case?

thanks for that comment QW. I was wondering. It may never happen but I would sure like to make a trip I had dreamed of to Ireland and attend their services.
He is a man I have admired from afar.
Anyway, thanks...

I don't know. Someone with a minutes book would have to verify that.

From what I understand, the benchmark of pastors is required at the time of election. A couple of pastors transitioned into administrative positions following the assembly. I have heard that Ken Anderson and Mark Leondhart are no longer pastoring.

The current pastors on the council of 18 are:

1. William Lee
2. Scott Sheppard
3. Anthony Pelt (Pastor/Overseer)
4. Joe Dobbins
5. David Smith
6. Nick Park (Pastor/Overseer)
7. Kelvin Page
8. Lennox Walker
9. R.C. Hugh Nelson
10. David Cooper
11. Julio C. Melendez Olgvin
