Post Discrimination against large families Link
I had a time in Hawaii trying to book a place to stay for my family of 6 when we moved out of our apartment. Trivago and Hotels.com would say there were too many people for a hotel. Finally, I got a good deal on a one-bed room, at least by Honolulu standards.

From here on the mainland, I was looking into booking a KAO campsite. The website asked how many people. I entered it, and the site said we had too many people in our party for the campsite.... for a campsite! How tight do they cramp people into those campsites? Is it like Calcutta? The fire marshall isn't going to get on their case for having too many people....umm.... outside, is he?

Maybe they've got bathroom facility issues or something. I just didn't expect this issue to be a problem when trying to book a camp site.

My wife and I are very blessed to have five children. Most hotels we try to book on the web will only allow for 2 adults and and 3 kids. We have never had any problem when we book a room for 5 and show up with 7. We do generally need a room with 2 queen beds and a hide-a-bed. [Insert Acts Pun Here]
