Mat 7:21 She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

He is called Jesus FOR He will save His people from their sins.

He did it!

When we call on His name, we call on the TRUTH that He saved us from our sins...and we are saved.

Rom. 10:13 for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

What a lovely name, JESUS!

Amazing as a southern boy I never knew ANYONE could name a child Jesus, wouldn't that be sacrilege?

Then after spending some time in the military and meeting some Hispanic folk, I realized the name was very common. I asked, and was told, "It is to honor HIM."

But it is a Lovely name, Jesus! Smile
