He who believes and is baptized shall be saved...by washing of regeneration and renewing of the holy Ghost (Mark 16:16, Titus 3:5) He that believeth not shall be damned.
What is it that is "believed" that is a perquisite to salvation? "God hath made this same Jesus whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ." (Acts 2:36)
If one does not believe on the LORD Jesus Christ, he cannot be saved.
Thus, if a former believer renounces the gospel, declaring that he does NOT believe that Jesus is Lord, how can he be saved? _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI |
