Interesting...his bio above does not mention pastoral work. He grew up in COG parsonages, though, as we know, since his dad was a pastor and leader in the COG. |
I went to school with him. Nice guy. I wondered if he had ever pastored. _________________ Doctor of Bovinamodulation |

Terry Hart's Dad was the AB of S. Ga from 1976 - 1978. If memory serves me right he came to S. Ga. at the end of his tenure. _________________ Recorded Sermons @ www.pastorwiley.com

He went from South Georgia to Florida (I went too so I know). And from there he went on the Executive Committee. |

I will say as far as Alabama goes--- Pathway, Oak Park, & Sumiton (3 of our largest churches) have been given to out of state guys since Brewer came. That never garners much popularity with pastors for an overseer in Dixie. |
Don't think that had much to do with it.
We would like to think we have that much sway, but reality is much different.

It has been so long ago, but are they related to Robert and Vokie hart?
I am sure they are not kin to Carl. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

Yes, the Harts I mentioned are Robert and Vokie, and their son is Terry, who is going to AL. Legendary, beloved, godly leaders in NC. _________________ "More of Him...less of me."

Terry Hart is one of the finest godlest men in the Church of God that I have been Blessed to know. I just got to hear him preach and talk to him a couple weeks ago. I always love to hear him preach and he is the real deal. Alabama will be Very Blessed by having Brother hart and his wife lead them. _________________ Ronnie Lingerfelt A/K/A 4 golf. |

Strange things in this world. Terry must be one of 'em good preacher's kids cause he didn't run the crowds I did. LOL To be honest I knew Robert Hart when he was youth director of NC and never knew he had a son. Kid musta been a good dude. (Sorta like 'em Sustar boys ) Or I 'woulda knowed him'. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

Wayne Brewer is one of the finest men that I know. I have know him since we were about 11 years old at the old Doraville Church of God. We went to school together and were roommates at Lee.
We all know that God has a plan. I know that Wayne will be submissive and follow that plan regardless to what political motives or individual dislikes that may be out there, whether they be for him or against him. This move was probably made because someone promised someone something or someone got ticked off because of pastoral appointments. Regardless, its not the end of the world and I'm sure those in Cleveland that made this decision did it to find solutions.
Praying for the very best to all those involved in the move. |
