Post Clinton destroying Trump in the polls UncleJD
Nearly every recent poll for the last month has had Hillary ahead of Trump, and each day it seems is getting worse. Today its 12 points! And before RS posts, I am NOT happy about this, in fact I'm angry.

General Election: Trump vs. Clinton vs. Johnson Bloomberg Clinton 49, Trump 37, Johnson 9 Clinton +12

Looks like America wants President Clinton.
Obama has given America what it wants - she continues it.
Guess we need to get used to it.

You can blame the support for Trump on this one. Once again, the GOP voters blew it on their selection. McCain, Romney and Trump. Acts-pert Poster

If Hillary wants to win, she should probably decline debates. I don't imagine that Trump will be gentlemanly and pull any punches. He can point out that
other people have gone to prison for less serious infractions of national security in regard to their email,
sales of nuclear raw material to Russia,
pattern of foreign donations to the Clinton foundation and these countries brokering deals with the US government,
and her verbal attacks on women who claimed to have been sexually assaulted by her husband,
and of course Ben Ghazi.

Trump keeps shooting himself in the foot by taking the not-politically correct thing too far. But Clinton might do well to stay out of the ring with him.

I don't think so Eddie.

They wanted us to select Bush - and he would have lost, as well. He was trounced by Trump - how would he have beat Hillary?

The thing is that people already know these things about her; Trump bringing it up in a debate will not change their minds. And if you think about it, Trump has provided endless fodder for Hillary to use against him in a debate. I don't see Hillary being embarrassed or ashamed of those things; she just carries on with a straight face when I would expect a decent person to be mortified with embarrassment.

I totally agree. Their anger overrode their sense.

I'm not talking about what "they" wanted. Jeb would have been no different than McCain and Romney. I know how don't like Rubio but he led better against Hillary than anybody. Rand Paul would have been good too. Too late now.

If Trump wants to win, he needs to get ahead of the curve and not be so reactive.

He needs to be asking questions like, "Given my track record in desires for immigration slow down and Hillary's anything goes policy, would you feel safer with me in regards to homeland terrorism or Hillary?" I don't like Trump at all. Never have! But Reagan's question of "Are you better off than you were four years ago, come to mind.

As weak as Hillary is among independents and even her own party (she needs Trump-crazy to bring them to the polls), even Jeb could have beat her. Its pretty obvious that the non-Republicans that put him in, chose the only candidate that could not beat Hillary. Golf Cart Mafia Consigliere

BBWWAAHHA Do you guys realize how bad Reagan was trailing Carter at this point?

And if yall think that any other candidate would be doing any better in the polls you are mistaken.

The Reuter's daily tracking poll this morning showed Clintons 13 point lead cut in half almost overnight since the bombing. You guys worry too much.

Sadly,
Rubio has been the best senator I know of for the last 6 months.
Not sure where that guy was the last few years.
Maybe the reps. will steal it away from Trump.
If they think they are going to lose anyway, why not?

Carter was a sitting president. It was his to lose. Apples to oranges.

Trump is his own worst enemy. He may be ahead today but one stupid comment and he will be behind again. Yeah anyone else would have had Hillary on the ropes already because they could probably keep their pie-hole shut! Smile

Sure the election is a long way off and that bothers me more. It would be more time for the Donald to implode with more "foot in mouth" disease.

BBWWAAHHAA, do you realize that was 36 years ago? Do you realize Donald Trump is NO Ronald Reagan? If you think he is, it tells me all I need to know about you.

He does not have to be a Reagan. He only needs to stay on message.

Yep the teleprompter has saved the Obama guy many times. If he could just not ad-lib! He has played the non-PC to the hilt, I for one wish he would not start expounding HOW he is going to fix everything. Embarassed
