Post I heard an Old Woman (Annette Watson) preach today at Wildwood, FL Cojak
At least the pastor described her that way. I thought she was really old, until he told her age, and it was the same as mine and close to Truman's age.

I have not been privileged to sit under her ministry, and was happy to see she was to be a guest.

It is always great to see and hear Bro & Sis Powers who assist Bro Cook At Discovery in Wildwood. The congregation seems to be growing.

Oh the 'Old Woman's name' (Old Woman is meant with much respect to her age) is Annette Watson. She is one good minister. My wife and I were blessed and challenged. Her voice is still very strong (singing and preaching)_.

I am sure her name is familiar in COG circles, and of course I had heard it. But I had never had the privilege of sitting under her ministry.

Post One of the finest! Aaron Scott
She and her husband, Randy, used to be part of the four or five KEY singing groups at the Florida Campmeeting. It was Randy and Annette Watson, Arnold Godwin, The Singing Morris Family, and the Miller Brothers (speaking of Wildwood). When it was their night to sing, it was GOING to be great!

Also, she happens to be one of the finest preachers in the Church of God (I believe she even preached at the Assembly one year--perhaps to the women, I don't recall).

They are up in age now, but they will forever live in my heart as members of a time that was utterly golden to me.

I believe(one of them) they ran up a serious debt and left us to pay for it.

(I am sure they had their reasons - but nonetheless, Fla COG members got to pay for their mistakes).

Not closely involved so I don't know the whole story.
