If you parent long enough, you're likely to get stunned by something or another. Just sayin. [Insert Acts Pun Here]

Is this article sarcasm, is it serious, NO ONE IS IGNORANT ENOUGH TO THINK DOING ANYTHING ONCE A QUARTER will set a pattern, especially concerning faith, ARE THEY?

And yes, Bonnie is correct! Cool

I thought everyone would pick up on the fact that this paper is satire along the lines of The Onion or the Lark. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Yes, I am aware of that. Doyle posted another article from it on Acts just recently.

Some of their satire is lame, imo.

True, but such is the nature of the beast, Miss Bonnie. Satire and parody is kinda like ice cream or music. Some folks like choklit, while others love nella. Some folks feel the nointin in the twang of a Remington steel guitar, while others git their praise on with the distortion of a Fender Stratocaster.

All at said, all satire/parody ain't gonna be funny to all people all the time. So a feller just has to keep on parodyin. Cool

No, Ole Timer, it's more like education from accredited institutions. As Andy Taylor told Briscoe when he lost out to Dud Walsh for Charlene Darling's affection, "Some's got it and some ain't." [Insert Acts Pun Here]

More than that, Ole Timer. I'm saying some satire is funny and some is lame! Ain't two ways about it, some is lame. You can chalk up some things to differences in tastes, like your music and whatnot, but just like academic scholarship, they's standards, my friend, STANDARDS!

Yeah a lot of what I saw on this sight, I would call "lame".

Do the whippersnappers use that word these days? Laughing

Besides, it's scriptural: Proverbs 26:7

'Lame' is politically incorrect. Some satire mobilitily challenged.
