Post Cruz is desperate (L) Resident Skeptic
Quote:
"It is striking that the day after Donald Trump called for weakening NATO, withdrawing from NATO, we see Brussels, where NATO is headquartered, the subject of a radical Islamic terror attack,"

And with that quote went any respect I still had for Cruz. Ted does not seem to get that the France attack happened before Trump made his comments suggesting America withdrawing from NATO, and that the Brussels attacks were also planned well in advance of Trump's comments.

Europe is getting what it deserves for being weak and self-loathing. They judged themselves unworthy of freedom decades ago and will be ruled either by Russia or Muslims. Trump is right. It's time for us to defend our own borders instead of fitting the bill for everyone else's defense. Funny how Cruz praised Ron Paul in the past but now blames Trump for saying similar things to Paul. I cannot respect a candidate that is so desperate he lies to himself by blaming the frontrunner for this attack, all for a chance at political gain.

Its political posturing, I give you that. But to pretend Trump is not a master of it is dishonest. You know, the guy who said that the Pope can't question another man's faith, but Trump sure can question Carson's, Cruz's, Romney's, or anyone else he wants to. Pot calling the kettle black on that one. Golf Cart Mafia Consigliere

Questioning faith and sounding like part of the Huffington Post editorial board are two different things.
