I pastored a church once where several of the ladies spoke in tongues in sign language. They would stand in the altar with their eyes closed and hold up their hands and make all kinds of hand gestures. Hopefully that was just another "fading fad." _________________ On Target!! |

Could these ladies speak at all? |

They were all quite normal as far as speech and hearing were concerned. _________________ On Target!! |

B77, I'm trying to understand before I comment. So these ladies could speak/hear like any normal person, but they did hand gestures (sign language) and said they were speaking in tongues in sign language? |

Mr. OTCP,
My discernment radar becomes very loud when I hear or see "ministers" like Ms. Bynum. _________________ QUESTIONS |

That's about it OTCP. Passing fad. If it were not so serious it would have provided many moments of comedic relief. It probably did anyway. _________________ On Target!! |

Sorry, fellers.
Honestly, I didn't know if B77 meant:
1. The women were deaf/mutes and could only communicate via sign language, and were supposedly signing in tongues.
or....
2. If the women could speak/hear, and were just saying that they were signing in tongues. |
