Post What Hillary WILL do vs. What Donald MIGHT do. Aaron Scott
It ultimately comes down to this proposition. I have refrained from much of the political debate. But now I see media organizations that tried to convince people to not vote for Trump...beginning to accept that it's going to be Trump running against Hillary.

What we have to ask ourselves is would we rather have what Hillary will give us...or what Trump might give us.

Its not between Hillary and Trump right now. IF and WHEN it is, it will be Hillary Clinton wiping the floor with an easy target. Not because she is any better, but because the middle of the spectrum, not you and me and most posters here, will do what they always do, decide the outcome. The polls are about 70% of that group would vote for Hillary. That is not to mention the fact that the 40% of voters (most of whom are not Republicans) that are supporting Trump are completely unconcerned with the fact that over 40% have said they would either not vote for Trump or strongly consider a third-party. This means nothing to them because they are not as concerned with beating Hillary as they are with beating "the establishment".

Besides all of that, its not ONLY what Trump MIGHT do, its what he has done, and who he is. A person not becoming of the office of President. While I might decide to go ahead and vote for him (doubtful but I'm not 100% anymore), I know many won't because of that.

There's still time, Trump has not won this yet. Its not Trump vs. Hillary. We need to elect a true conservative who does better against Hillary in every poll anyways. Kasich is trying to assure it doesn't happen for his own desire to have it handed to him in the convention, but Cruz could still win this outright, especially if Kasich did the right thing and quit. But if this goes to the convention with no majority, then its anyone's game and we can still get a candidate that can actually win in November.

the delegates are only obligated to vote for their candidate ONCE. After that they can vote for whomever they want. Thats the rules of the convention made by the people that we have held our nose and elected in office.

If T dont get the 1237 then its going to be interesting at the convention.

If it is Trump & Hillary, I go with the unknown of Trump! (And I don't know if that is the best approach or not, but it will probably be mine!)

It's mathematically possible that Cruz can win, but not likely.

I wonder if Kasich would drop out if Cruz would guarantee him the VP spot if he won it. At Kasich's age, it's less likely he would be president down the road if that worked out (especially after 8 years) than it would be for Cruz if the situation were reversed.

Any vote AGAINST Trump is a vote FOR Clinton.

Any vote FOR a third party candidate is a vote FOR Clinton.

Any voters who stay home and don't vote, that's a vote FOR Clinton.

Then, Bill is back in the White House sneakin around the Oval Office.

Fortunately those statements have been proven as false and shows a sincere lack of understanding of the voting process.

Unless you believe that votes can be wasted votes. Something that our founding fathers would have found incredibly in error.

Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is not making a present or a compliment to please an individual - or at least that he ought not so to do; but that he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country.

- Samuel Adams, in the Boston Gazette, 1781

Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.”
