Another point of view....... |

You voted for GW Bush, but you can't vote for Trump if he's the nominee? I went to two Bush inaugurations and voted for him twice. Had a "private" dinner with him and about 300 hand picked supporters in D.C. I sat by Gloria Estafan, Don King, James Dobson and other big names in business, music and screen. It was AWESOME! However, as far as his "Christianity" is concerned, Bush was NO-where close to what many of you Ranters consider Christian. If you voted for Bush, you voted for a man who stated that the Muslim god and our God is the same God and publicly worshipped along side Muslims in mosques. Would you? You voted for a man who said that he did not believe the bible was literally true, but "you can learn a lot from it". He increased funding for planned parenthood. How many human beings died as a result of that? His gay and lesbian policies were the same as the Clintons. He regularly dropped the "F" bomb. So, you voted for Bush but can't vote for Trump because he's not Christian enough or he sinned more? I'm not endorsing Trump. I'm just saying, I...WILL...BE...VOTING. I voted for Bush twice because I didn't want Al Gore or John Kerry. They would have been a national disaster. So, if you voted for Bush, don't say you can't vote for Trump. The appeal for me right now for Trump is, he's not Hillary AND the establishment/insiders are so scared of him, that they are trying to rob him of the nomination and We The People of our voice. THAT should speak volumes. But again, to say you can't vote for Trump, but you voted for Bush is either hypocrisy or ignorance. GO VOTE! Cruz or Trump....its 6 one way, 1/2 dozen another. Either way, I'll vote. So, I'm done with the political post LOL and I sincerely hope I got under somebody's skin. Lol. REV LUV ERE-BODY!

A minister who sincerely hopes he compromises his ability to reach people with the gospel by "getting under their skin" about something as eternally worthless as politics.
Truly special. A wonderful reminder to be slow to speak and quick to listen as ministers of God's grace.
(I am guilty of this as well, but I am striving by God's grace to change. I can't bear the thought that something stupid I say in regard to a truly meaningless topic would compromise God's ability to use me to minister to someone.) |

Andy, think about this post. A former COG minister posts a comment from what is purported to be from a COG minister, but the name is withheld. Ummmm, are we sposed to believe this without documentation? |

This is what I've been trying to tell the "Never Trump" crowd on this board. I find Trump superior to Bush for his immigration and trade policies, in addition to his stand against political correctness and the war on Christianity. _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI |

Nothing more than a point of view. He should realize that many of us that vote for another candidate are not doing so because of trumps religious practices or lack of. We are doing so because of his lack of professional ethics , billy goat demeanor , 3rd grade name calling , suggesting we boycott American business's , and his casino thug behavior. Just to name a few traits that are acceptable for a gambling casino bouncer but not the Presidency of the USA. |

Right. He's not even a decent human being. I respect my wife, daughters and Mother too much to vote for someone who does not respect women and calls them names. Can't do it. Won't do it. |

I voted in the Georgia primary for Ben Carson.
Why?
He was the only candidate I heard pray in the name of Jesus.
Then he quit. _________________ Charles A. Hutchins
