Post Who voted for Romney but will draw the line at Trump? UncleJD
I wanted to capture a bit different "poll". I think people believe that the same ones who wouldn't vote for McCain and/or Romney are the ones saying they won't vote for Trump. I don't believe that is true. It think a large proportion, if not a majority of those that are saying they won't vote for Trump actually did vote for Romney (albeit with their nose-plug in place).

Please don't use this post to tell everyone how stupid they are if they don't vote, that case needs to be made on a dedicated thread (and hopefully with meaningful reasoning rather than what I've seen before). I just want to confirm in our little group whether those saying "never" actually voted for Romney.

I voted for Romney, probably will not vote for Trump.

Me.

I actually sported McCain/Palin as well as Romney/Ryan stickers on my car.
I cannot, in good conscience, ever vote for the Orange Donald.

I'd vote for a "Romney" in 2016. My first choice is Cruz, but I would have voted in the general for Rubio, Bush, and probably even Kasich.

My objection to Trump is not that he's not conservative enough, it's that he's an intemperate buffoon. I will never vote for him because of his character and because of who he is as a man; not because he's not a conservative. I could vote for another squishy Republican if I had to, but I will never vote for Trump.

Theres a lot of folks at our church that will just stay home if Trump is the ticket. Im going to do a poll around town and see how popular this is.

And they will have themselves to blame for the downfall of the country. Just think, foolish Christians are going to be the undoing of America.

Exactly what I asked you not to do. That's a good topic and worthy of discussion, not of a hit-and-run as an off-topic post.

i have voted for a Republican every presidential election. I will vote Libertarian if Trump is the nominee. I won't stay home, though. And, I don't need a lecture from anybody who supports a school yard bully who has caused more division among friends and family I have ever seen in my life. You vote for your guy, I'll vote for mine. I know some people have a winner's mentality. It happens in sports as well. Acts-pert Poster

Actually, Jesus has caused more division between friends and family than Trump ever has.

As for Romney, Trump is a thousand times more conservative than Romney ever has been or will be.

I voted for McCain, Mitt and I will vote for the GOP nominee. If it is Trump I will vote hoping to keep Hillary out of the whitehouse. Twisted Evil
