We are ALL getting the wool pulled over our eyes concerning voting |
c6thplayer1 |
That applies to Democrats and Republicans.
What is the The Smoke Screen? ... Its the Super Delegates whom are not bound to vote according to the popular vote.
ie. a vote for a leading politician could be close to the runner up but he is still ahead by virtue of of popular and electoral votes. However the Super delegates could vote for the runner up simply because they are not pledged to the popular vote, Thus swinging the runner up as the winner. Thus making your vote one that carries less weight , or any weight at all , than our forefathers designed.
The Democratic party is even more corrupt with this matter;

to their preferences in the presidential race and are not
obligated to support the candidate chosen by the voters.
The purpose of superdelegates is for high-ranking Democrats
to maintain some control over the nominating process.

The republicans are not without blemish either;
In summary your vote aint what you think it is and someday
it will be totally worthless because of these power hungry
politicians.
This is not how our fore Fathers set this up using super delegates
Happy Voting. |

I understand at much, Patrick. But I also understand that just to “write in” a persons name aint never gonna elect em. Please name one American president who was not on the major ballot, who was just a “write in?” It don’t mean the “write in” person has no merit, they just aint enough momentum to elect em.
Now, if you can convince 150 million voters to write in that same name, hey, they might win. |

You guys seem to think that a person should feel obligated to vote for the Republican candidate even if they feel that person is wrong for the country. What a sad interpretation of democracy. |

As hard as it is for me to say, I believe Hillary would definitely be the lesser evil if it came down to her vs. Trump. |

QW, do yourself a big favor and read up on what she stands for and i don't mean from her campaign. It's like you'll have to do a little google search & read what she thinks is the utopian lifestyle.
Her beliefs would make a hard core sinning narcissist like Trump appear innocent.

Trump stands for himself alone. His only principle is selfishness. Hillary is not much better, but Trump is certainly not a conservative in any way. He's a bigger windbag than Joe Biden ever thought of being, with a tyrannical attitude to boot. Trump would be the absolute worst president...ever. |

Not arguing for Trump don't get me wrong.
But Trump doesn't hold the same global unification world view as she does.
He's more focused on financial sustainability & strong defenses.
She is all about major social reform & how America will become the world leader in every kind of whacko social rights experiment. If you think (non racial) minority groups have exposure now wait till she's done.
She will turn this nation into something we've never seen before & only read about from utopian extremist.
Just a little google search past the two front pages will get you to her real world manifesto.

Between Trump and Hillary (or Bernie).
I have to go for Trump. I am not voting for a pastor (many folk used that term last time, did you?)
So I will vote for Trump. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

Not my feeling at all, JD. The Evangelical Christian should vote for the person he/she believes is the best candidate for the country. In my entire adult lifetime (voting age), in my honest opinion, in every single presidential race, without fail, the person who was best/right to serve as the American president was the Republican candidate. |

For some weird logical reason, I think we should use the wonderful privilege of 'THE VOTE' to elect the best person to lead this great country. For some reason the past few elections have been to pick the lesser of two evils, meaning the one who would do the LEAST damage.
We will all vote what we think is the best for 'us', but the best for us is what is best for the country. I guess everyone has a right to throw away a vote, I did when I voted for Perot. I would have even voted for WAllace ( don't remember I might have, I've done some stupid stuff).
But I will vote for a person who 'has a chance' of being elected that I think will be the best for my country, when the time comes. Then I will pray as I do often, "God Bless America, the best country in the world, even with all its faults."
In my opinion this is, without a doubt in my mind, the greatest country in the world. I have only been to 26 of them, Nick says Ireland is good, I haven't been there yet, but it is still on the list. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

Same here, though barely. I don't think that will be the case this year.
As much as I think Cruz is being railroaded by the RNC establishment cronies in choosing Rubio, and that makes Rubio the worst of them all things being equal I would vote for Trump in a heartbeat just to send the message. That's what I think most voters are doing for Trump right now. But I can't allow my anger at the party bosses dictate my conscience for me. They will answer to God for their dirty dealings, but I won't go against the conscience He gave me to put my approval on Donald Trump. If the RNC gets their way I will probably vote like I have so many times and hate the establishment a little more, but if they don't they deserve whatever they get (and it will be without my help) |

We shall have to see. An I would not suggest anybody to vote agin their conscience. My only point bout them "write in" candidates/votes was to say that "YEA," if that's the vote of a fellers conscience, hey, go fer it. But unless enough folk vote the same way, the vote does not good as far as electin at particular "write in" candidate. |

The deeper you dig in to the whole process, the slimier it gets!
These two parties that we hang our hats on have become FAR to powerful and very corrupt. We need a revolt to a third party to shake up the process and MAYBE both parties would clean up their act!? With the electoral process would that even be possible. |

I refuse to vote for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump.
Trump is unfit and Clinton should be in prison.
If those are the choices I will vote for a third party candidate. I would not be able to sleep at night, knowing I had voted for either of those 2. _________________ Eddie Wiggins |
