Mario Murillo and politics..... |
caseyleejones |
I subscribe to MM and his FB page. I have always liked him. It seems however he is really taken up with Trump....not mildly but as if he will be the savior of the GOP, DC and the US. At the same time he is going after Clinton. Is this isolated with high profile ministries?...regarding being enamored with Trump as being the savior of the land? |

But, he is scheduled to be with me for 3 days in March and I am considering dropping him as I do not want a political meeting I want a spiritual one. Not saying it would be all political but I see very little about the Lord in his blog these days only railings of a political nature. I plan on calling him next week. I'll post an update then.
you can certainly have political opinions as a minister, I do but I try to keep it to a minimum in the pulpit. I try to encourage people to vote and vote for candidates who most subscribe to Biblical concepts, knowing we aren't voting for pastor in chief. |

what limelight |
brotherjames |
Mario was big in the 90's and really until very recently hasn't had any real notoriety. Doesn't mean he doesn't have an anointing nor that he doesn't have a credible ministy. I am objecting to his recent political push. Not following the limelight in any way shape or form. But, if I can bring a man/woman of God into my church and area who can encourage, teach and generally bless my people and let them hear something good, then I will continue to do it if I can (afford to).
Dont you have guest speakers in your pulpit? |

relatively unknowns preach for me and frankly they often are much better than some of the so called big names I've had. Unfortunately your theology and mine might clash a bit. |

BJ, love the guy....but as you...it is way too political. It's the blog I follow.....he is definitely consumed with Clinton and Trump. |
