Have you (if you are a pastor) or any pastor that you know ever not accepted someone's tithe? Maybe you didn't think it was 10%. Maybe you did not like the source it came from.

Should a pastor determine whether the source of a tithe is acceptable or not?

I have never known a pastor to reject anyone's contribution to the church, have you?

Does this mean preachers can just take a sinners money? If it's mine, why not?

I mentioned it before, it was well published that the Salvation Army refused one lottery donation.

Now in my personal opinion, WHY would anyone turn down a gift, donation that was from a legal source? A man does not have to be a Christian to drop money in the offering plate.

As an atheist I put tithe and offerings in the local COG for many years before I come back to the Lord, because it made my wife feel better. No one questioned the money. Confused

I know a COG pastor who accepts the tithe and offering of a professed unbeliever, womanizer, and unscrupulous business man. He even allows him to have input into building projects because he gives a lot towards them. The man is a husband of a believer though so I can understand accepting the giving, just not the influence. Golf Cart Mafia Consigliere

A good friend of mine (also a pastor) had a parishioner who regularly played poker and wanted to give a tithe to the church. He would not accept it on the basis of it being "filthy lucre". I don't agree with him but I respect him for sticking to his convictions. He preached against gambling , lotteries, etc). Acts Enthusiast

I personally, don't know who tithes or how much they tithe. My clerk will let me know if our leaders are not tithing but other than that, I don't know. Acts Enthusiast
