Post Unsolicited advice to speakers Cojak
If you are hard of hearing you may understand this entry. If you are not familiar with listeners with hearing aids it might be informative. I am now totally deaf. Working near the flight deck and flying in helicopters with no hearing protection helped me on my way. LOL Fortunately I have implants that allow me to hear one on one. The problems listed here still apply.... If you are interested try this:

Very respectfully...

this is what I face. If a woman is speaking hear Charlie Browns teacher, especially if they are excited and speaking rapidly. I love music but so many worship leaders/teams are made up with tenors and sopranos. The words are distorted. Add this to the increased volume of many of our churches, it causes bouts of dizziness.

I laugh at myself. At one time I played the Trumpet. I give that as a reason I know the words to only one line of every song, wind instrument players follow a tune. I realized my hearing was GONE when after church one night I asked the piano player the name of the last song after the alter call, it was not what I was playing. I left the trumpet on the seat and a few weeks later a young man ask could he have it, I said of course. He began to play in church I was blessed, but missed being a part..... Very Happy Embarassed
