This week two different ladies that attended church at the last one my dad pastored. Both were dedicated young ladies.
In the past few years things have changed for them. One is now attending and joined a Methodist church. She said since joining they gained new pastor. She said it was almost like the old COG pastors. She mentioned it to him and he laughed, I was COG, ordained and pastored with the denomination. However, I am very happy here.
The other lady's hubby past away and she met and married a Baptist man. She attends with him. She has said in the past it is almost like rolling the clock back to the East Belmont COG.
This week she called my wife. "You know the pastor we like here? I talked to him last Sunday, he used to be a COG pastor. Everyone in the church loves him and he can really preach."
This tells me that COG training and influence pays off in Christiandom, don't you think? _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!
