Post Flash flood devastates Chattooga County sheepdogandy
Last Sunday Chattooga County, GA experienced a major flash flood.

The Summerville water system is off line.

"HEY WE AIN'T GOT NO WATER FOLKS"

Yeah I'm a hollering.

Bottled water to drink, non potable water to flush toilets.

No services at SPWC until water is restored.

It's like living with the Flintstones.

I have been seeing it on the news. Hope it doesn't last long.

Forecast for this weekend.

RAIN!

Water plant is still down.

No end in sight.

Gov Kemp visited us yesterday.

He said the state would help folks who suffered loss.

I pray the water gets restored there. I would never think to get up and thank God for utilities but after hearing this it makes me grateful for the things we take for granted. Friendly Face

I will never take the convenience of water at the tap, shower or toilet for granted ever again.

I am proud of the community effort taking place during this crisis.

Shirts are being printed which state.

One God
One Church
One Community

Kind of sums it up.

Water has been restored! (to my house at least)

Praise the Lord!

Many are still dealing with the results of the flood.

Homes, businesses etc...

Prayers are appreciated.
