Post Reports of Supposed Pastor Affair At Chattaooga Megachurch. Fair Or Too Harsh? News & Views
Is their coverage fair, too harsh or a "Hit Job" in your opinion?

I do not see it as a HIT job in the least. Crying or Very sad One more hit for the evil one and another strike against HIS people.
I already hear.........
"There goes another one, they are all alike, especially where money is involved."

Prayers for Our Lord's Body, The Church!

As a definite nobody who has never pastored a congregation larger than 50, whenever I read a report like this it definitely helps give me a better perspective. I may not ever pastor a large, much less, mega, church, but at least I don’t have this guy’s issues. Of course, “Let him who thinks he stands, take heed lest he fall.” [Insert Acts Pun Here]

Post Sounds like a story ... Mat
Sounds like a story I heard about a group going to the State Parsonage and finding the Overseer with his secretary. Did that happen in the same area about 30 years ago?

Yet another example of the atrocious lack of discernment in the body of Christ today. Sermons based heavily on the life of the pastor vs. sermons based upon the life of Christ reveal something terribly wrong. That people will applaud and support such garbage is frankly an affront to a Holy God.
