"What, exactly, is an UNPROVOKED shark attack?"

As best I can figure it, "unprovoked" means "did not go to the beach, did not get in the water."

I mean, are there people out there who called the shark a bad name or insulted it in some way? Or did someone punch a shark, and so provoke it?

I think we simply have to stop saying things like "There were 300 unprovoked shark attacks this summer," and just go with the more truthful statement that "There were 300 shark attacks this summer."

Roger that! Cool However I did have a provoked catfish attack once when I caught him. He stuck me! On the Shark, not sure you CAN provoke him! LOL
