We in ministry are on the front lines of helping people deal with the various issues they are facing in life. We do not necessarily endorse everything this author says, but his advice can add to the knowledge a pastor needs.

Some are genuinely struggling with gender issues. Others are caught up in it as a social issue. Either way, caring ministers want to help if possible.

In some cases, the wisest path forward is to realize the limits of one's own wisdom on a topic. Compassion and concern may lead to recommending the person to a Christian Counselor.

Harsh, reactionary and condemning response will only add to the person's inner struggles.

Feel free to agree, disagree or add your own experiences in helping those who are struggling with this issue.
