Post Two soldiers, Paul Tedder & Paul Collins, have made it home Carolyn Smith
We have lost two men of God this weekend who made an impact on the Kingdom of God here in NC. Paul Tedder, well known for his children's ministry back in the day, went to glory on Friday. Only eternity will show how many lives he touched. And then on Saturday, Paul Collins, formerly pastor at Union Rd COG in Gastonia, went to be with the Lord. He was a wonderful pastor and a great encouragement to us and supported our children's ministry. I know he was a great encourager to many other young ministers, as well. Both will be sorely missed.

I'm sure Cojak knows these men and figured others might also. Remember their families in prayer...

Thank you so much Carolyn. Yes I knew them, but Paul was a close friend. I did not know he had passed.
Paul was a great guy. He was a fairly wild PK in his teens but settled to become a well liked and successful pastor. Patsie (I think that is how she spells it) has been a dedicated mate and care giver. Paul and other PKs made as I watched the first ever ZIP line I heard of. They stretched a steel cable across a giant gully on the COG Camp Ground with a 3/4 galvanized pipe Tee installed. Then screwed short 3/4 pipe to make a seat, NO BRAKES just an old leather glove the learned quick that they needed. i was too young and they did not let me ride. LOL
Prayers for the families of these loved men. Cool

Paul Collins' son announced 2 or 3 weeks ago that his dad had been battling a type of cancer the last 9 months and that it had affected his physical and mental health. Paul had always been pretty clear mentally even into his 90s. His son also said they had called in hospice and only family was allowed to visit.
