Post Lost my job today revuriah
Hey, everyone. This afternoon I was called into the supervisor's office and told that as a temp, I was done, along with the other temps, cost-savings. This was literally with no notice. I know God saw this coming, but please remember us in prayer. Thank you!

Thanks, guys. Ideally, I'd love to be in a ministry position. That has been my prayer lately. Of course, I gotta pay the bills, and if a regular job is the only way, so be it. So far I've reapplied with Publix (former employee) and Geico.

I am so sorry to hear this news and the timing of being laid off. At times like this it helps me to recall situations that seemed bad at the moment but later on I saw God had something better. When in these situations it helps me lift my spirit by looking at my Godly wife. Nobody likes being told to hit the road but now I realize I am fortunate for the walking papers I received from a Christian woman before her. Friendly Face

Exactly my thoughts. This week, I've been praying a specific prayer, that God would open the door He's got for me to walk through, and that He'd close the door I should not walk through. Perhaps half of my prayer has been answered. So I eagerly look for the new door.

Post Praying 4golf
Praying for you. God will provide. Several years ago my wife walked and left me. We where struggling to make ends meet with both income back then and I admit I did struggle for a little while keeping faith that I would not lose my house. I came close a couple times and I have cut back a lot of stuff, but God has provided and I have not had to barrow money from my parents. The last 3 years has been great times of building my faith even more. I have applied for job after job, only to see door after door close. Being 54 years old and only doing one thing for over 30 years has made it hard to get a good job. I am going back for a second interview for a great job and with great benfits this Tuesday, and I am believing this is going to be my job that God has provided for me. God will some times bring us to a place of a Desert where we can ONLY depend on Him. I told this story to give you hope that God is Faithful!! He will provide for His children! Gods Blessings and His peace be with you and your family.
