Post Seeking a Church Planter Rick Whitter
The Church of God in Minnesota has another opportunity for a new church plant. We hope to focus on Rochester, MN (a great city with no Church of God presence, home of the Mayo Clinic) but we will consider a new church in one of several metropolitan areas.

We are providing supportive relationships, training/coaching and significant financial assistance. Qualified candidates should send a letter of interest and a resume to Administrative Bishop Rick Whitter at rickwhitter@gmail.com.

The desired timeline is initial meetings beginning this spring and a launch in the fall of 2016.

10 years ago I knew at least 7 people in 3 southern states that were involved in church planting. Today I only know one person involved in church planting and they live in California. Golf Cart Mafia Soldier

Aside from the opportunity to plant a church, this is a tremendous opportunity to work with a very progressive State Administrative Bishop. The discipleship alone, that will be received by the planting pastor, will be invaluable!


This is the truth!! Years ago I really WANTED to be a church planter, but it just really isn't my calling - right now at least. But if it were I'd want to plant wherever Rick is!! He has a genuine passion for planting churches and supporting them throughout the planting process. I would love to see him in our home missions department, but I'm afraid that would take him out of his most valuable position as an AB!		 Hon. Dr. in Acts-celeratology

I as well wish God had called me to plant. Perhaps some day. But what a place that to plant! I'm from the somewhat upper Midwest, the Detroit area. It's a place badly needing evangelizing.
