Post Do animals go to heaven JLarry
I have been asked many times if animals go to heaven. I have not found a Scripture to prove if they do or do not.

But I saw a video on FB this morning of a guy declaring that dogs go to heaven. He was wearing a Tee shirt with Ps.36:6 on it.

Psalm 36:6 (NIV) Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.

Is this Scripture talking about the here after?

My wife sure hopes so. She loves her dog. I love the crazy thing too but not like she does.

Funny that. When My dad pastored Valdese, NC I had a Cocker Spaniel, Ace. We went every where together. In the summer he lay at the side door of the church, with his head on the threshold. His eyes following the singer, shouters and dad preaching. Dad was accused to counting Ace in church. He died while there and I buried him behind the church.

For a long time, at night this 13 year old boy knelt by that grave to talk to God about allowing Ace into heaven. Yeah, I think some animals are there, if not I won't notice, cause ain't no sadness there, I hear!

If you was 13, Cojak, ats been over 50 years ago. Even if a cat snuck into heaven, I bet in 50 years ole Ace has done sniffed at thing out an chased it outta heaven. Wink

To the affirmative.
Would it be heaven to have to listen to all the yapping?

Post There are lots of horses in Heaven. doyle
Years ago, after Sunday night church, a group of about 10 of us went to Shoney's for a hot fudge cake and fellowship around the table. The conversation turned to whether animals went to heaven or not.

The majority decided that "No," animals did not go to heaven. Our daughter Sherdonna, about 11 years old at the time, raised her hand and said, "There are horses in heaven."

"What makes you think that?" she was asked.

She replied, "The Bible says Jesus and the saints will return on white horses, so that means there are horses in heaven."

Post Isaiah 11 famousflavius
This scripture sure has a lot of animals in it.
Isaiah 11:6 The wolf will live with the lamb,
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling[a] together;
and a little child will lead them.
7 The cow will feed with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
8 The infant will play near the cobra’s den,
and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest.
9 They will neither harm nor destroy
on all my holy mountain,
for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea.

When my young nephew asked my Nana this question she had what I thought was a very wise answer. She told him that if that's what it took for him to be happy in Heaven his pets would be there. That satisfied him.

Post All but Gators. Aaron Scott
And spiders, snakes, and the such.

NBF clearly is NOT going to heaven since he is a Gator.
