Post GAs and diesel prices Cojak
WE drove to Florida and back a week ago for an hour appointment with my wife's eye surgeon. 1100 miles round trip for 40 minutes but actually 15 minutes with a doctor (regular hour appt, I guess)

But what I wanted to say was we purchased reg unleaded for $1.85 9/10 a gallon in Rock Hill, SC.

We also just a couple weeks before drove 4,000 miles to the Dakotas and back. Many places diesel was less than gas, that is new to us. I remember when diesel was half the price of reg.

Anyway what is gas in your area. In NC I saw 2.159 today.

I paid a little less than $2.00 yesterday for the first time in a long time. Guess it will start going up now. Acts-dicted

$1.94 for regular unleaded, $2.20 for diesel.

Diesel is easier/cheaper to refine than gasoline so the last few years of it being more expensive than gasoline is a byproduct of government regulation, plain and simple. It keeps the price of your groceries up and we all pay for it. Thanks Obama, sorry its not at the $5/gallon level you wanted for your elites though.

BTW I heard last night that the price difference between regular and super that used to be around 10% or so, is going to 50% and higher. Not sure if that's true yet but what might be the cause for that??? Ahh yes, more government regulations sneaking into our lives.

I am supposed to use super unleaded in my car but when it went above $3.00 a gal several years ago I switched to regular. Never had a problem with it, car is now 19 years old so if it dies tomorrow guess I will go buy a new one. It has been a good car and I still love it. Acts-dicted
