And doth The Bard who brings such verdict stern
Indict the council who advised the man
Who brought this path to such a drastic turn?
What censure doth deserve shenanigan?

From all the wrong conclusions drawn
and from the attitude shown
The Bard
Should be "BARRED "

It's too neat and clean to simply be barred;
For major transgressions he's feathered and tarred.

(For the feathers to stick, the tar has to go on first, but it had to rhyme, lol.)

I guess if the AB has authority over the council, the responsibilty lies at the AB's feet for his decision. However, I still am curious about why a council member was asking questions in Ennis about incorporation, debt on the parsonage, and stabilty of the congregation two weeks before the AB gave Buck the boot. Also who (outside the COG) was being leaked financial info on the church and why?
Lovely sonnet, but there are a few questions unaddressed.

Hind sight is twenty, twenty.
Mistakes made--there were plenty.
Now will the bard make a rhyme,
Address the one-way track of time?
Were his wisdom one to fear,
Pray tell how proceed from here?

Post I think this warrants repeating Buck Marshall
On another thread I wrote something that should be included here....

The truth is that what I shared on here is a written form of what I said publicly in front of the AB and New Hope. It was very detailed and I quoted him and me and told all the details. He got up and said, "Everything your pastor has said is true." With that in mind, I wrote what I did here. So, what I shared here is the truth. It is not...to the best of my ability...an attempt in any way to present only one side favorable to me. I think if you read everything I wrote....that fact is pretty plain.

Post No flattery... Curiosity Buck Marshall
This wasn't my post....but the considerable interest not only in this thread but apparent in the combinded viewership of all the other spin off threads concerning this event... Made me wonder what the other high viewership threads were. Thanks for the info.

On another note...other pastors in Ennis have reached out to me and shown support. it has been an amazing time of connecting with other leaders. and, the Lord continues to bless us...as several new families have started coming to the church. We also have been evangelizing like never before. Really great things are ahead. Thanks for your continued prayers.

The longer in time the thread continues, the more views it will get simply because each time a new post is made to the thread, regular Acts readers will view the thread to see what the lastest post says.
It's good to hear things are going well for your church.

Maybe, just maybe we all have learned something worth knowing from the top down and vice versa.

Our prayers are still for the advancement of the Kingdom. Cool
