If it is a moot point that I speak in tongues without love, by what Holy Ghost did I get Baptized? |

Yes, the key words are:
Initial, meaning first in a series of more to follow, not only and not continuing!
Physical, meaning having to do with the physical body, and imply that there is a mental evidence and spiritual evidence.
The mental evidence of Spirit baptism is the renewing of the mind by the Spirit and the Word.
The spiritual evidence of Spirit baptism is love and the fruit of the Spirit.
The fruit of Spirit baptism is power to be a martyr (witness) for Jesus.
Witness is a noun, not a verb, by the way. It is something you are by virtue of the Spirit's power. Testifying is what a witness does. |

God would never use something that Satan can reproduce as the proof of his indwelling.... the only evidence of the Holy Ghost that Satan cannot mimic are the "fruit of the Spirit"

i think if we take this to the first initial physical evidence we should listen for a rushing mighty wind, maybe a little fire in our hair, then and only then this speaking thing.

Response: Care to post the scriptures which say satan can't reproduce or mimic the fruit of the Spirit?
