Post Not another Baptist (come on Huck) Acts2Grind
As far as I can see it, the last 2 times we had a presidential candidate who claimed to be a Baptist & who also won the office, both turned out to be duds. (Clinton & Carter).

Maybe it's that southern cook'n.

I like Huckabee (what can we say? He's just plain likable), though my first choice would have been Thompson. I still would like to see Thompson show some fire in his belly and maybe turn things around.

I'll take another Baptist over a well-advertised adulterer (Giuliani) any day.

I think this mirrors my opinion exactly. I really like Thompson, but Huckabee is gaining favor with me fast.

Well.....the other day I couldn't see anyone I'd care for.
This includes the whole kit and caboodle. Dem's and pub's.
But today, I think I'd put their names into a bag and draw one out. Or maybe just dump them all out and the first one that hits the floor, thats the one.

But I am favoring the Huck for some reason.

I am with Mike Huckabee all the way. I have liked him from the beginning but was not sure that he would gain any steam. I am delighted to see him moving up.

According to Rasmussen reports today, he still has a 3 point lead over Guiliani.
