Hopefully not Dority.

Or Propes.

Y'all better be careful talking bout that one overseer. You ain't safe from that maniac in any state. Course his chances at the committee are shot, but he still might try prosecuting you if they send him to any state. The minutes don't mean nothing to him. Loose cannon. Not fit to lead a one car parade.

It's also against the rules to speak specifically against a particular person. That's one of the things Shaun was talking about that can get him in legal trouble.

Post No list 4thgeneration
I won't attempt a list, but instead express a concern.

My concern is that people will show up and vote based on emotion, or to prove a point. We've all been drawn into the drama lately, and IMO, exposed to written and spoken campaign speeches by people involved on all fronts. To allow our emotions to drive our vote could result in a very dysfunctional EC.

Suppose Tennessee block votes their overseer (which I am hearing is likely to happen), and another movement block votes TJ to show support and make a statement. Clearly with that scenario the GA will have seated a functionally handicapped group, as lines are drawn and sides are taken. As a result you would have ongoing turf wars and personality clashes rather than a cohesive team to lead our movement forward. We've been there in our history, and it didn't bode well for successful forward movement.

IMO we need a blend of experience and fresh vision to create a strong team and a critical balance. Stepping into Cleveland's operations are not unlike stepping into new levels of ministry, with their unique challenges and idiosyncrasies. Somebody needs to know how things function at that level, and somebody needs to move in fresh vision for our movement.

I pray that we don't show up spilling over with emotion, and thus failing to prayerfully vote for our current challenges and future strength.

Just my O!

Add TJ and two more.

Tom Sterbens ought to be on the Exec committee. He would be the smartest guy there.

This is spot on! When people only see what is presented on social media, regardless of truth, this will be the trend.
