Post Has Women in Leadership already been decided? Nature Boy Florida
I'm watching Amanda Crabb teaching men in the Assembly Lead conference.

Teaching pastors.
Leading in a LEAD conference.

What are we still debating? Looks like we are already practicing.

Good for us.

Don't we have female instructors at LEE or PTS giving instruction to ministers?

Post RE: Rick Metzgar Jr
Women do need a voice not only at the table but actually running things and in seats of prominent leadership. My Great Grandmother helped build this movement in South Carolina back in the early 20's and if her chicken dinners were good enough to build their church on, then why do we insult women by not giving them a real voice? The fact that we are still debating this in this century is quite unbelievable. Make them full Bishops and give them a real seat in places of true decision-making leadership. Post Georgiapath--yep! Aaron Scott
Indeed, women DO lead the show. Every married man knows who turns the neck that hold the head.

I look back to when we changed the teaching regarding outward adornment. I got to thinking...does anyone think that a man was in an all-fire hurry to make changes? I dare say most men didn't give a whole lot of thought to it. BUT THE WOMEN DID. And because they did, we eventually made changes.

Likewise, I am convinced that within the next 10 years (but probably not by next GA), women will be part of the General Council. And they have a lot of commonsense that they can bring.

However, there will likely be some "trouble in the flesh" as men have to get used to tip-toeing when they are speaking against some lady's viewpoint. It will take time for our natural courtesy and deference toward women to balance out so that men will speak as straightforwardly as always.

Just my thoughts.
