Carolyn, the cross flower arrangement is beautiful. However, I am fine with whatever you want to do regarding flowers/support for their expenses. Thanks for taking care of blessing his family. Friendly Face

I am having a hard time deciding what to do. This is what I'm leaning towards...

I think these are pretty, too. We could send these from the group and put the rest in the memorial fund.

Flowers are nice but last only a few days, maybe the money would be better spent by using it for memorial expenses. Acts-dicted

Hence, the dilemma...

The flowers are a tangible reminder of our love for Doyle, but the financial gift is more practical.

We actually never send flowers anymore, but send a gift in lieu of flowers. BUT we are also on the road most times and it is more convenient. Embarassed

Well, they say it is a woman's prerogative to change her mind. Smile So I decided on something completely different.

https://www.fromyouflowers.com/products/beautiful_in_blue.htm

I got these flowers and I am sending them from us to Linda's & Doyle's home with the same note I had previously told you I'd send. They should be delivered tomorrow. By the time the other charges were added, it was more than I expected, but we should still have around $150.00 to add to the memorial fund, as well.

Thanks so much to all who have contributed. I'm glad we will be able to send a remembrance and bless the family as well.

Blessings on the Daughtery family and all who loved Doyle. I have read nothing but wonderful things about him. He was always kind and generous to me and others.

Let's keep his memory and legacy alive here at ACTS.

Thanks! Blue is my favorite color, and that's the less expensive one I liked the best. I wanted to send something mainly for Linda, to show our love for Doyle.

I told Shaun I am a secretary, and I like helping people. I like doing this kind of thing, taking care of the details. I didn't mind doing this at all.

Let's all take some time tomorrow to remember Doyle and how he blessed our lives and also remember to pray for his family as they lay him to rest.

BTW, I sent the $ to the memorial fund via Cash App, so it won't show up on the Paypal page.

I was glad to do this for the group.

I got a message back with several hearts from the Cash App donation.

Thanks for your kind comments, everyone.
