Obviously Marcus Lamb's family is still in shock over his sudden death. They certainly have handled it with incredible grace. His Memorial service was an amazing and uplifting service.
Jentzen Franklin was chosen to be the keynote speaker for the Eulogy. It quickly turned into a Word from the Lord. From the very GRIP-OF-GRIEF, Marcus's family and those attending the Memorial, were lifted from mourning to a time of on-your-feet, hands raised-in-praise worship celebration.
Along with Joni at the Daystar helm, Brother Franklin is one of the few who could help the Daystar family heal. This is not an attempt to campaign for anyone. It is just an expression of opinion.
No doubt there are some who could come in and help Daystar continue. However, if there is a goal to build beyond what Marcus Lamb was able to ACCOMPLISH, Jentzen Franklin could help do that.
Many have knowledge. Jentzen does too, but he also has PRESENCE. He has fire inside but also has a tender way of drawing people to be warmed by it.
There will be a MAJOR DIFFERENCE in just helping Daystar continue and in finding someone who can help it SOAR above-and-beyond where it is now. Has Daystar reached it's zenith, or can it ROAR to even greater heights in bringing hope, help, and the Gospel to a lost and dying world?
DAYSTAR'S past has been phenomenal. Having Jentzen Franklin as a regular ON-AIR presence, may be the vital factor in whether it just continues, or if it SOARS. That is my opinion. You are welcome to share yours.
