I like that Ford. Owned a couple. The P/U is a great all round vehicle. i would like to have one now to dress up. It would be a fun outlet...

Post I like my 99 F150 Mat
This article makes me happy - in 2005 I bought a used (just 50 K miles) F 150, 4x4, xlt, triton 5.4, regular cab, step side, for $10 K. I have driven across country pulling a trailer, driven off rode a little (in the Sedona, AZ area) and used it for church projects as well as to help the neighbors haul.

Yes, the hood and roof could used some paint, the individual coils on the spare plugs are an issue, along with a cracking dashboard cover, but I enjoy my truck.

I was checking prices and it looks like I could sell it now for what I paid for it. However, it we are going to be forced to buy electric cars (or hybrids) in the future, I keeping my vehicles on the road as long as possible.

But I agree its got the most upside. I had a 95 and I've been looking for a nice example, had to pass on one for $6K a few weeks ago because I decided on a new Bronco.
