Post Prophet Mark Taylor - real or fake? Dean Steenburgh
Reason I ask:
2 women in my church have become convinced that Mark Taylor is a true prophet & that his teaching against 501c3 is there to warn us of it's evil intent.
Supposedly his teaching states that the 501c3 is a mechanism whereby the IRS is in cahoots with the church in order to deceive the masses.

Other than a Google search has anyone had any personal interaction with him as in maybe attending one of his events or maybe you've met him?
Seems we have someone who knows somebody at some point all the time so hopefully you can shed some light on his life or his ministry.

Is he presenting this as a prophecy?

Churches can be set up with non-profits that fall under 508, which does not require annual filings with the IRS unless employees are paid and such, and does not limit political speech like 501c3.

I did not know about the 508 but I'm glad you responded so I can ck it out.
Responding to you: I don't know if he's actually stated his opinion in the form of a prophecy.
Apparently due to his following who hold him in high esteem, even his opinion is valuable to them.

Never met the guy, have known of him for a while. He sounds like a dominionist convinced 503b's create a slavery mentality. It takes the Right Wing Watch to help preserve his error .. of course ..

I think this Mark Taylor is who you refer to, Dean, the same guy who gave us his seminal film "The Trump Prophecies", oracles received as he drowsed watching Fox News, predicting Mr. Trump's successful run for the presidency, thus making him a Prophet. You can't make this stuff up, and this opus is still on Amazon Prime to rent. Some background ..

Here is the anointed seer warning us about 501c3's ..

Rafael,

Good to read your post - I had never heard of the guy, but then again I don't go looking for the "Bar Jesus" types.

Biblical prophecy and the Gift of Prophecy is nothing like what is going on under the vestments of being a "prophet" these days. It almost reminds me of back when you would drive down the road and see the "Palm Reader" sign. You knew something unbiblical was going on in there, but there always seemed to be a draw, a curiosity - more likely a demonic pull - to go in and see what they knew.

Like the Palm Reader, these Pseudo-prophets tell you what you want to hear. If you don't agree with them, they will say your lack of faith is the reason it will not come about.

I am ashamed that so many ministers and even denomination bought into this spiritualism that has bound so many church goers.
