Post Actually vitamin d3 deficiency is the culprit MikeBarnes
The dirty little secret the cdc won't tell you is that low levels of d3 acerbate the virus complications in people. Sunshine is great but you can't get much of it in the winter months in some climates. Ergo, low d3 levels which nearly every organ in your body needs to ward off attacks of viruses etc. Which is why so many people get the flu in the winter. All you need to do is take d3 supplements. All my pharmacist friends take about 50000 iu per week. Either in one dose or 4000iu per day. Take that plus 30 mg of zinc every day for the rest of your life and even if you do get a virus it will be short lived and less virulent. It is hard to even get enough sunshine in the summer months as you need to expose about 75% of your skin to the sun. Then, you open yourself up to melanomas (cancer). Do yourself and those you love a favor, take d3. You won't regret it and it cannot hurt you. There is no toxic levels of d3. Member

Post FLRon
I’m content to roll the dice and soak up as much of the Florida sunshine as possible. Since I love being outdoors, that shouldn’t be too difficult.

Post UncleJD
My mother, 73 with COPD and diabetes, did not get a single symptom while taking physical care of my dad who was sick with COVID for 15 days. She had been tanking up on vitamin D and Zinc for months in preparation for it. Golf Cart Mafia Consigliere
