Pretty sure there is a clear correlation between declining church membership and the overall spiritual dearth in America.
Their data reveals that the younger the population group, the less likely they are to take membership in a church. That coincides with what I've seen first hand in our church. Unless one of our millennials was raised in the CoG, they don't see the need to take formal membership.

On a separate note, neither do our millennials like to give unless they can give to a specific cause or ministry that they "approve" of. Changing times I suppose.

Wow! So 83% of church goers cannot be depended on to promote the Great Commission? What exactly then are they learning at church? No wonder evangelism is a thing of the past!

FLron stated "What are they learning at church?

They are learning who to vote for and how to influence others to vote similar. I know because I went to one of the big church conferences. The theme of the conference was around God, Country and politics. Evangelism was not mentioned.
