I am an outcast because I despise that song and speak out against it. I cannot support a song as "worship" that really only glories in Pentecostalism instead of the cross. .

This song is a pet peeve for me too, Resident Skeptic -- I actually used that clip in a series on discernment by isolating the words and showing the Jesus-only, self glorifying Apostolic lyrics. Some of my folks were a little tweaked at me, but the point was made. I didn't stop em as some of them got a little excited before I interrupted the video to point out the heretical emphasis -- more to this thing than just a knee slappin, bun jerkin yuk-fest, huh.

Slam dunk for what, that the being known as God has multiple selves? In this prayer Jesus refers to the Father as the "only true God". Admit it or not this prayer of Jesus is very problematic for Trinitarians.

I think you are misunderstanding the Oneness doctrine. I assume you too worship only one God. Saying that Jesus is the one true God does not violate the doctrine of the Trinity in any way.
But my beef with the song is that, as you put it, it is self exalting. It is not worship.

I agree with you too brother. It isn't about the Lord, it is about "I" and what maks them Pentecostals. "I"dance, I shout, I have been baptised. It is not about the Cross or what the blood has done for them. I realize they think they have the "truth" and that is why they rejoice but it is all what they do and not what Jesus has done for us. I heard the song a few years back and never cared for it then. Just my Opinion
