 General Assembly for many pastors... |

Their church can't afford to send them.
So either they put the whole trip on plastic at 22 percent interest.
Or they sacrifice tuition for their children.
Or they continue to drive a wreck
Or they forget health insurance
You can include multiple examples.
Yet we still do not have streaming and online voting for the largest percentage of Church of God ministers

I think it would be great even if we offered regional locations, one per state of region where we go and registrar and vote at that location as it is streamed from the main Assembly venue. Understand at the off site locations we would not be able to speak to an issue at least more ministers would be able to vote!

If they did online voting and let us watch debates online. They could charge a reasonable access fee with our voting code.

| we have discussed this most every year. The technology is there. Every minister eligible to vote would have an app that they set up a password with their ministerial number and some sort of way to make sure it is them. Watch the meetings online and vote using the app. You can vote from anywhere in the world and have that vote to the moderator as quick as if you were sitting in the auditorium. But, they don't want an Indonesian PB. 😀 |

You are right RR. This has been a fact for years.
In the 40-50's era for the pastor of an average COG to attend, 4-6 preachers would get together and get on hotel room, no a/c. Some slept in their cars or stayed in a YMCA.
What a blessing for dedicated men to be able to 'attend' via 'remote' and vote
in an organization to which they have dedicated their life, thru Christ.
