Post The Apostle Paul was Torah-observant! maqqebet
Though the Apostle Paul adamantly defined the position that salvation is by faith alone and the Gentiles need not be good Pharisees in order to be saved, the Apostle's life and testimony reveals he was personally Torah-observant.

On the occasions he had to stand before civil and religious authorities and leaders, Paul confirmed he observed the Law:

Before Felix - Acts 24:14, "But this I admit to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect I do serve the God of our Fathers, believing everything that is in accordance with the Law and that is written in the Prophets.

Before Festus - Acts 25:8, "...while Paul said in his own defense, 'I have committed no offense either against the Law of the Jews or against the temple or against Caesar.'"

Before Jewish Leaders in Rome - Acts 28:17, "...Brethren, though I had done nothing against our people or the customs of our fathers..."

His Bible was the Written Torah, Torah Sh'Bichtav, which he included as a part of the "sacred writings," which included the Law, Prophets and the Writings - the same Bible Jesus used (Luke 24:44, Now He [Jesus], said to them, "These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that in all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.")

As part of the Inspired Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:16), the heir grommet, or "sacred writings," (2 Timothy 3:15) was Paul's text for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness, and desirous "so the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work."

He admonishes anyone who would be a communicator to "be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).

When we gentiles get saved - we don't stop being gentiles. So when Jews get saved they don't stop being Jewish. So Paul could stay observant while trusting in Jesus only for his salvation while he continued not to eat pork. And the gentiles who were saved were only obligated to "abstain from eating food offered to idols, from consuming blood or the meat of strangled animals, and from sexual immorality" - because that's what the church bound on Earth resulting in it being bound in Heaven also. They were bound to their Minutes just like we are Laughing

Post Old Time Country Preacher
At each/every point Paul dealt with Judaism or the Judaizers, he clearly taught that Jesus Christ was the complete fulfillment of all things Jewish. True, converted Jews did not cease to be biological Jews. True, since Judaism was the context of much of early Christianity, Paul focused at length on the subject. But it was NEVER conceptualized as necessary for salvation. And the principles of Torah were NEVER preached as necessary components of early Christianity. Acts-pert Poster

are correct.

But, my purpose isn't to see Gentile Believers conform to Jewish observations, is it?

I make that clear with my opening remarks.

1 Cor 9:20 To the Jews I became as a Jew, so that I might win Jews; to those who are under the Law, as under the Law though not being myself under the Law, so that I might win those who are under the Law; 21 to those who are without law, as without law, though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ, so that I might win those who are without law.

Exactly what is your purpose? What are you trying to point out. That is not clear.

The Champion of Gentile Freedom of Faith in Christ remained Torah-observant.

Paul was able to contextualize message brilliantly, didn't he?
