Gorilla Lives Matter: Lowland Gorilla Shot by White Man

At the Cincinnati Zoo over the weekend, a 4 year old boy fell through the barrier into the compound of a 17 year old, 400 lb., Lowland Gorilla. To save the boy's life, according to a local news station, the gorilla was shot dead by a white zoo worker.

Given the little feller was in danger a bein killed, the zoo made the right decision.

What is troubling is that Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and ilk aint said nothin.

If you have to choose between the life of a gorilla and a 4 year old human, it's not a hard choice to me.
I know kids can get away from parents quickly, though I'm tempted to judge the mom for letting her little feller get through the railing. I got a chuckle when I read that an eyewitness said the child had said, "I want to go in the moat." His mom told him he was not going in the moat. He showed her! (Little boys, smh!) But I bet he'll think twice about it next time. I hope he's okay.

The incident...

Some humans must 'second guess' every decision made. Many were not there and know exactly what should have been done. WE love to be Monday morning quarterbacks!

But to the OP.. NO animal lives do not matter in comparison to a human!
I like animals but this generation has taken 'Animal lover' to the top of the ladder.

I was in the car with a preacher once and he said, "Hallelujah" real loud. I asked what is the occasion. He said, read the car tag up front, I says save the children.

He was referring to the ones that yell loudly: save the whale, manatee, and Gorilla (next year), I guess.
