Ole Timer, I don't know how it is in Tennessee, but in these parts, ole Santy Claus comes at the very end and you simply MUST stick around for that. I'm not that much into parades, really. I enjoyed marching in the marching band in Christmas parades years ago (as long as we didn't have to march behind the horses).
I have to ask if they have a parade in Pikeville. I can't imagine any place being smaller than Alert, NC, and even Alert has a parade. I went to it once. Just sort of a bucket list thing, you know, just to say I had been to the Alert Christmas parade. |
