C6, Here Ya Go: "In Any Tongue" Classic Gilmour (L) |
Old Time Country Preacher |
On his recently released "Rattle That Lock" album, the song is titled "In Any Tongue." The lyrics deal with the ravages of war on soldiers, their families, etc.
Pay particular attention to the guitar solo beginning at 4:50 on the clip. Beautiful!

One of the greatest. Wonder where PF would be today if Syd had stayed as lead. The dynamics came when Gilmore joined. |

Agreed! I don't like hardly any of PF's music prior to Gilmour. The first PF I ever heard was Dark Side of the Moon an fell in love with the guitar solo in the song "Time."
Ole Davie aint the fastest guitar player, he said so himself, but I aint never heard anybody play like him. Hey, the rabbit was faster than the tortoise, but the tortoise got the job done. |
