Hi, guys. I'm currently working on producing a promotional video for work. The problem I'm having is that I've received so many great professional voice work auditions that I'm having trouble narrowing it down! So I'm hoping you'll take about four minutes to help me get through a round of choosing.

All you have to do is listen to the three 30-second videos below and vote for your favorite. Remember to vote based on their potential rather than if they messed up on this audition or not. The person you vote as the favorite will move on to the final round. The final choice will be hired by my company to make the full 4 minute video.

Thanks for your time and help!

Round 1 Participants:
Kristin Slaysman
Cameron Thomas
Daniel Smith

Then vote in Round 2!

Post Shaun... Yo Dude
Kristin Slaysman comes in first, in my opinion. She and Cameron Thomas read with the same level, but her voice is just going to be a bit more attractive.

Daniel is not in the running on this one.

There is something you need to change on the script: "...it is running over."

Each person, when they said that, sounded unnatural (in fact, Daniel actually did this line the best). I would change it to "...it's running over," as that seems a bit more natural sounding, and keeps the readers from sounding like they are (they're?) reading.

My expert opinion.

Post Female Pastor Gary
Kristn -- hands down.

Her voice was well modulated and made me want to listen. Small thing, but she seemed to have less of a discernible regional accent of any kind... more of a generic voice that can be universally accepted.

Kristen is my pick of the three, but if you want real voice over talent, check out the website of my old friend, Lonnie Perkins.

I wouldn't want to be a conformist.

Actually, I'm stuck in the middle. Cameron & Kristin were equally as good, and some aspects I liked better than others on both.

However, Kristin's voice was soothing and easy to listen to.

I didn't read or see anyone else's comments or choices before I listened. Kristin was superior in tone and reading. Her voice was more appealing. Cameron was a close second. Daniel sounded very unnatural saying "it is running over" and didn't have the quality of voice of either Kristen or Cameron. Golf Cart Mafia Capo Famiglia

Thank you everyone for your involvement! Although I will start Round 2 shortly, please be aware that this round will be active and can be voted in until Sunday night.

(Rick Sexton, I will seek out Lonnie for my next project!)

I am quite relieved to hear my hands are not feminine. Please let OTCP know. Laughing

Lonnie and I went to high school together, worked at the same radio stations together, he ended up doing voice over talent, I ended up preaching...go figure.

Lonnie is a dedicated Believer and is a super nice guy.

If you talk to Perk, tell him I said hello!
