It seems highly probable that the two members who are eligible for reelection will be reelected. Other than that, I think it’s likely Travis Johnson will be elected to the Exec Committee this time. [Insert Acts Pun Here]

The ministers that voted against TJ and Tenn overseer Dority who let it happen - need to no longer get any votes imho.

They probably could but does Conn actually want to be on the committee?

A man not willing to make a social media video of himself dying on his hill is not worthy of a vote. Laughing

For some reason my quote box won't work, but responding to fire starter. I do not understand what you mean about a socialedia video of dying on a hill.

Then I suppose they won't get your vote. Laughing

In all fairness I didn't really get your post about Conn either. Rolling Eyes

He has created a culture or led the organization into a place where that seems to allow things that is against church off God beliefs. And now is getting martyred by people who speak against lee

Conn is not credentialed so that's not even a possibility.

It's come to my attention that Conn is a credentialed minister in the COG. My bad...

Post Out of Paper
Conn accepted a one-year appointment to the Presidency of Lee University following the resignation of Mark Walker, yesterday.

I doubt he has ever considered a position on the Committee.

Dr. Conn retired. I think he was 74 when he retired.

The thing I read said he will serve until the new person is found. If it's 3 months, he'll serve in that capacity for 3 months...or however long he's needed.

I don’t know what position people will be in

But here’s my thoughts on the names that will be on excom just I don’t know the order

Travis Johnson(if there’s no funny business to get him out)
Gary Lewis
Tony Stewart
William Lee
??????????

Mark Williams????
Tom Madden ????
I do not know who go will be.

Doritos stepped in It. I don’t think he stands a chance.

Stewart Lewis Johnson Madden I reckon the last spot will go to a liberal once they figure out they going to have to band together to get at least one spot. That could end up being somebody like MW WD or JC. It's got to be somebody this either a liberal or has shown they will work with them for politic gain or just top weak to stand up.

Dorito doesn’t need to happen. JC he had his time.

Lewis, Johnson, Stewart, Madden (YEP I think that would be a good team)

The list you have for the four is who I believe will be in the top 4. Unless something is done to interfere with that politically. my fifth choice would definitely be William Lee. Lee has proven himself to be an independent thinker time and time again he is a leader that has been overlooked time and time again. I have a lot of respect for him as long as he can keep him away from the drama. I think he would be the next one on the list. Mark is doing too good of a job pastoring why mess that up he can come on in two years. Let’s give William Lee a shot. I personally do not trust Bonnelia or Marcail to take the position too much stuff with the migration crisis office I think William Lee would be a good moderate choice he would definitely heal the rifts. I believe the powers that be are going to try and push Bonilla and Marcail. I really don’t know with everything happening at the southern border special interest groups some of them are pretty left leaning . I like what poster Matt said on the situation “a lot of the charities at the southern border are Christianized human trafficking.” I know they may not be involved in that but the temptation to get grants linked to NGO’s (non-government organizations) are too much

I don't know Bonella or Marcail . I did hear that the fella you mentioned was a Democrat from up north but I'd rather have a half decent Democrat than anybody who let there wife pray to mother God or somebody who would try to railroad a man for speaking too mean to the lgbt. We don't need no liberal or somebody who ain't got no principle except trying to get elected. You can figure out which is which. Down here some folks talk about KM being a choice but I don't know him either

This will give us new voices at the top and a conservative leadership group. The old guard had their day and many were great leaders but that time has come and gone.
