We all have an opinion and I am not saying one way or the other because I do not KNOW I mean actually know, but i would accept AP over The Daily Angle, but that is me.

I don't fall head over heels for any news BUT I do not think ALL news is fake.

Since my mind, like yours is made up. That is fine. I just do not believe the election was Stolen, and feel like a precedence has been set now in not trusting our national elections.
I have no doubt that some fraud is and has been in our elections, BUT not enough to come close to swaying an election.

I will sign out with this, "If Mr. Trump is elected again, he will be my president. I will not fuss, he will be my commander in Chief and I will respect that as the choice of the PEOPLE!.

I have faith in our country, but that is just me. It does hurt to see so much hatred in politics.... Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Post I doubt this is any more repugnant... Aaron Scott
than for some COG ministers "endorsing" Trump.

Yes, I voted for Trump. Both times. Not because I liked him, but because, unbelievably, his opponents were even worse!

We dare not think that endorsing our candidates are somehow better than them endorsing theirs. I guarantee you that both sides can make a good case. Just as most of us would say "I don't like Trump as a person, but I do prefer his policies," they can say "I don't like their position on XYZ, but I do prefer their position on ABC." You get the idea.

It's best to remember that neither party (nor any other) is perfect in God's eyes.

Trump never had proof that any election results were faked.

If he did - he never provided any. Rush Limbaugh even pointed that out several times on his last shows.

Sure - Sec of States allowed all kinds of ballots to be dropped off in the name of covid - but each state gets to decide whether to allow that or not.

Each state had to decide not to allow that - but many did.

We didn't allow it in Florida.

A sec of State signature is what is required to certify that's states preferences - nothing more - nothing less.

Once that is done- the decision is made.

The time to cry foul was before the election - but Trump was so sure he would win - he didn't gather the proper evidence.

He let himself down. He lost to an old geezer with Alzheimers. He's a loser.
It's time to move on. Let a new generation lead.

Post Trump offers us NOTHING but whining about the past. Aaron Scott
No vision for the future.

No ideas to encourage us.

Just whining about 2020. And if he's elected, it will almost certainly be all about "getting even" for 2020.

I'd much rather have DeSantis.

Constitutionally, only state legislatures have the right to change the way elections are held in their states.

Secretaries of State do not have the Constitutional authority to change election laws.

The states that had that happen held an illegal, unconstitutional election. It was those changes that allowed illegal ballots to be counted.

That's how the election was stolen. Plain and simple. No amount of dislike for Trump changes that.

The AP is just as biased and dishonest as CNN, MSDNC, Google, Facebook, etc.

I showed how the AP assessment was incorrect. You on the other hand just discounted my source.

Here's another link from an NBC affiliate:

https://mynbc15.com/news/nation-world/trump-admin-was-ready-to-deploy-national-guard-on-jan-6-capitol-police-timeline-shows-january-donald

All the stories claiming that Trump didn't do what we know he did get it wrong by saying that Trump never ordered the National Troops to be in place. He doesn't have the authority to order them. He can only offer them. He did. They were rejected by Pelosi and Bowser.

Sorry man - you are incorrect.

In Florida. the chief election official is called the secretary of state. That is who verifies election results.

Other states perhaps have other election officials - but that one person certifies the results. All the other 49 state legislatures should have gotten someone else to be in charge if they didn't want their election official certifying false results.

But guess what, all of them (50) certified the results. Trump lost.

Nothing was stolen. Trump got beat and will ruin the Republican party if he doesn't get his way. He has went out of his way to fire up the Democrats BEFORE this election.

For that, he must be held accountable. Let him go back to being a democrat.

He absolutely will NOT carry Florida if he doesn't apologize to DeSantis bigly.

If he doesn't carry Florida - Democrats win again.

Trump is a loser. Need to find a winner.

After yesterday's mid terms.

I will revise my earlier comments.

Trump is toast.

If Desantis runs, he will win.

Trump is the William Jennings Bryan of our century. He had his moment, his time has passed and I may have voted for him once, but not again.

I will say this for Trump. IF he had really wanted to, he could have brought the GOP back together and would have been a force for good to be reckoned with. BUT he chose to fight and call even his strongest supporters LOSERS, and other names. if they even hinted some decision was wrong.

I can remember when when the Democratic party was conservative and was considered the party of the working man. That party left so many behind and many (even my extended family) and they did not know it. Even today I have kin in NC , SC and GA who have no idea they have been left behind.

I am afraid the GOP is pretty fractured now, we need a leader to unite the conservatives and our Christian leaders, I keep looking.... But by no stretch can I see it being Trump, he burns bridges he might need. DeSantes seems to be a pretty good choice, but I am still looking...
I hope I do not have to make the decision between Trump and Biden..... I am not sold on either... Crying or Very sad

I'm all in on DeSantis as well. But I don't think the cornbread and shirtless-overalls crowd is, so I'm afraid Trump is going to split the party and give us another 4 years of China Joe. Golf Cart Mafia Consigliere

I cannot be incorrect because that is not what I said. You are comparing apples to oranges. Verifying and certifying an election is one thing; changing election laws is something totally different.

Secretaries of State do have the authority to verify and certify election results and only the results. They have no authority to arbitrarily change how an election is conducted. According to Article 1 of the Constitution only State Legislatures have the authority to change election laws. It's commonly called the Elections Clause. Your state didn't do it because you have state leaders that follow the Constitution.

We saw an example of that in this past election. The PA Secretary of State had issued a memo directing counties to count mail-in ballots that lacked certain info like dates, etc. The court said no because that would be changing the state's election law and they told the SoS she couldn't do that. Unfortunately, the courts were too cowardly to take up those kinds of lawsuits prior to the 2020 election. After the election several of those cases were heard and the court ruled in the GOP's favor but by then it was too late.

Trump is a loser.

He treated his most loyal ally, VP Pence, like he was trash.

I have lost all respect for that guy.

I will vote against him in the primary.

I will not vote for him if he gets the nomination.

I truly believe a middle of the road third party will rise up if he wins the Rep nomination. The time for a Ross Perot is now.

It's going to be painful - but Trumps political career has ended. He just doesn't know it yet.

Post Ron DeSantis in 2024 COGLayman
I voted for Trump in 2016 & 2020. However I hope he doesn't run in 2024. I prefer Ron DeSantis. Trump has too much baggage. It is also about him. He could care less about anybody but himself.

It was funny when he tried to take credit for Younkin's win. I remember clear how the party leaders didn't want him anywhere near Virginia during the campaign. Trump is toxic.

It's time for Trump to retire.
