If you mean Loran Livingston, it was announced on his church website and one of the pastor gave an update last night or this morning. He was still feeling kind of rough. Please continue to pray for him and his wife. His wife tested negative but is having symptoms now.

Loran was tested positive but his wife was not. They suspended services for today and Monday night for the first time.
He has been doing some 'very hard' (STRAIGHT) preaching lately. We were watching the prayer meeting last Monday nite when he took a coughing spell and soon turned the service to an assistant and left.

The church has credited those well attended Monday night prayer meetings with the rekindling of the church over there.
Since it was announced on FB I am sure he is not the one you are referring to. Also up in NC the pastor of the Lowell church is in the hospital with the virus and in serious condition.
They both need prayer. Cool

Oooooooof. Hope everyone around the coughing was distanced and wearing masks.

Praying for him. But, wow. Hope the folks there on Monday night will be okay.

Oh yeah. They do social distancing and do wear masks except when reading, or leading in prayer or testifying.

Loran is not having service just in 'protest', the man is very wise and uses logic to prevent the spread among his people.

I am not sure if he attended ministers conference awhile back. Our pastor did and was called by the overseer and asked him to be tested and quarantine himself for a few days. Some one who attended the conference had contacted the virus and was positive during the conference but did not know it until just after. Crying or Very sad

Praise the Lord. I'm not at all surprised to hear that Loran is holding services wisely and safely, but I am grateful and relieved to hear it.

Post yes it was Lorine JLarry
Did not want to mention because I did not know if the news was out.

Also heard he has only one lung.

He is one of the best the CoG has.

Is Loran still the voice of Forward in Faith?

He has done such a fine job at Central COG, and God has used him in an awesome way! God has definitely been moving in their services recently. I have seen shares of their Monday night prayer services from several people.

All of the churches in WNC (and ENC) have been encouraged to use social distancing, masks, hand sanitizer, etc.

I saw that the overseer in WNC sent out a message this week to all pastors to consider virtual church again for the next couple of weeks due to the spike in COVID. I think all our pastors are taking this quite seriously.

Loran & his wife Sandra posted an update on the Central COG Facebook page today, and they are both much better. She has recovered faster than he has, and he is finally feeling better. His taste & smell have returned and he was able to eat breakfast. He said they've both had RSV earlier this year (I think) but the virus has not affected their lungs. They are both very thankful they are feeling better & thanked everyone for their prayers, as well as recognizing their staff for stepping up to the plate in their absence.

Praise God they are doing better!
