Post Jim Bakker Taking a Sabbatical Carolyn Smith
Jim Bakker's ministry announced today that he suffered a stroke last week and will be taking a sabbatical while he recovers. He is doing well and is back home.

Will definitely pray for Jim, and wish him the best. I had not heard this Carolyn, Thanks.

Age happens to all of us.

One article mentioned Jim is 80 years old. I had no idea! Time marches on...

Jim has always looked young. I did not realize I was older than him. OUCH!
Oh, and I look young too, (in my earlier pictures!) LOL

I've learned since passing 60 that our response to age is entirely relevant to our own age. While we grow older, we expect everyone else to stand still age-wise. And I realize we were in our 20's when we were at PTL, so....

Jim is a very young-looking 80 (though he did have a little help back in the day!)
