Post I love you, brother, but don't touch me like that. shaunbwilson
I have seen more and more news outlets and social media posts recommending that people avoid handshakes and, instead, "elbow bump" to help stop the spread of COVID-19. It looks like this:

Source: news outlets]ABC News - Ken Cuccinelli, right, acting deputy secretary for the Department of Homeland Security, elbow bumps Chairman Ron Johnson to avoid shaking hands due to the coronavirus outbreak, after testifying during a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing about pandemics, March 5, 2020, in Washington, D.C.

Frankly, I'd rather shake your hand than bump elbows with you because the CDC says:
Quote:
To help stop the spread of germs:
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  • Put your used tissue in a waste basket.
  • If you don’t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve, not your hands.

It looks like this:

Now, if you're rubbing COVID-19 into your elbow, and then we "elbow bump," and then I cough or sneeze into my elbow... well, you do the math. 🤢

Wasn't there something about just bumping hips once? That seems safe if you lean away at the head and shoulders! Shocked

Post Wuhan Shake (L) Link
The new 'Wuhan shake' involves tapping feet together.

But the Bible says to greet one another with a holy kiss.
